Reunion Pre-Party and Info Session!
I was getting ready to meet Allison and Noni for our third "Planning Committee" meeting and my husband looked at me and said, "I think this is just an excuse to get together with the girls and drink."
But really, we have been doing a lot of planning!
Join us on Wednesday, April 9th at 7:00 pm at The Rose for a "30th Reunion Pre-Party and Info Session" and we'll let you know what we have been working on. Or, just join us and see who else shows up. The best part about having a reunion is reconnecting with people you knew (or did not know) thirty-years ago. It's pretty neat.
High school. I know that I was so-not-involved in high school. What's funny is that now that I teach at the Hotel School I deal with all kinds of students... the involved ones, the not so involved ones. And I get-it. Even as an undergrad Hotelie, I wasn't involved. But I graduated, left Ithaca, worked for for many years and then came back to get my Masters (and I have to say just LOVED being back in Ithaca)... and, long-story-short, now I teach 20-year olds and mentor them about getting involved! So how could I not get involved?
Enough about me. Noni said, "Keep it short."
April 9th, 7:00 pm... The Rose (Triphammer Mall) Just stop by so we know you are alive. (There have been too many surprises in the "alive" department, but we can chat about that too.)
Hope to see you soon!
