Here is the last (we think) update for our casual 37th. Please share with anyone who might like to come, including other years and non-IHSers. We are just looking for warm, friendly company!

Boatyard Grill, 6pm - ?
Saturday, August 29
Lower Treman, meet at the picnic tables to hang out or hike: 1pm
Ithaca Beer Company food and drink and outdoor games: 4pm
Sunday, August 30
Perhaps a breakfast? We’ll decide together in person.
If it rains, we will have to be resourceful at the last minute.

Hi IHS '78'ers!
If you haven't heard already, here's the story: we are putting together a 37th reunion in Ithaca on August 28,29, 30. Really. A BYOE (*Everything) weekend just to spend some time together, share some laughs and low-key adventures. That's it. Please share this with anyone I have missed– thanks.

Friday evening, August 28
Bookers Backyard by the old North Forty because a few of you have recommended it as an easy, casual place that accommodates groups. http://www.bookersbackyard.com
Saturday, August 29
1pm hike at Buttermilk (or Treman) State Park
3pm-8pmish Ithaca Beer Company by the south end of the inlet. http://ithacabeer.com They have outdoor tables, food, home brew, and room for us to play some outdoor games.
Sunday, August 30
Breakfast together somewhere TBD
We have a growing number of yes's and a bunch more maybe's. Families, friends welcome too, of course. Would you like to join us? It would be a pleasure. Just let me know which events and then show up!

IHS Class of 1978 class 50th Birthday Party Celebration July 30th & 31st
Our weekend Birthday celebration is fast approaching and we are thrilled by all the people who are planning to attend. The class of 1975 and 1980 are having their 35th & 30th reunions this weekend also. Hopefully you will run into old friends from those classes too.

Go Gone will be playing from 5-8 and there
is no cover! Come enjoy visiting with old friends on the deck and enjoy
listening to this fun band. This is a great way to get the weekend
started and a chance to make some of your own plans for other self guided

Saturday Picnic at Upper Buttermilk

Food provided by The Italian Carryout, $20 per person includes beverages,
dinner and cake. Please pre register so we know how many to plan for.
(Kids under 8 are free) If you have not signed up but are planning to

There is an entrance fee for the State Park. Feel free to organize yourselves if you want to carpool and reduce the cost of the park entrance fee.

Free Boody Institute (a.k.a. our classmate Franklin's 70's funk band!) is the revival band that exposes the great
FUNK and R&B B-Side classics of the 70’s! Classic danceable music
by Sly and the Family Stone, Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers, Earth Wind
& Fire, Chaka Kahn, Chic and many, many others.
Based in Ithaca, NY, FBI was founded by IHS 1978 classmate Franklin
Henry Jr. and his buddies London McDaniel and members of the Blue Sky
Mission Club and the Bernie Milton R&B Allstars.
